Arches 88
While digging through my storage looking for another surface on which to paint, I ran across a few sheets of Arches 88 paper that I had purchased years before for an etching workshop. I found it’s uncoated and fast-drying surface a wonderful challenge. I set my brushes down and began to use a putty knife to apply the acrylic paint, eventually purchasing different sizes of knives from the hardware store and exploring layering and under texture techniques. The images here are the results. I expect I’ll revisit this process again.
